Staff and roles

Invite your team and give each person the right access for their job.

Inviting staff

From the Staff section in Settings, add a new staff member by entering their name and email and assigning a role and branch. The staff member receives their login details so they can access the system at your subdomain.

Built-in roles

BeeOS ships with a set of ready-made roles that cover how restaurants are typically staffed, so you can pick the right fit for each person without building permissions from scratch.

  • Admin — full access to every branch, all settings, reports, and the subscription
  • Admin Branch and Manager — full management of a single assigned branch, including its staff, inventory, and reports
  • Cashier — operates the POS register, takes payments, and rings up orders
  • Waiter — takes floor orders and manages the tables assigned to them
  • Kitchen — sees only the kitchen display (KDS) to track and prepare incoming orders

Granular permissions per role

Each role is limited to what it actually needs — a cashier cannot change inventory settings, and kitchen staff never see financial reports. This fine-grained separation protects your restaurant's sensitive data and reduces the chance of operational mistakes.
